 Core Collection by Sports Turf Services is a high-performance, fully mechanized service powered by our ProGator-mounted Core Harvester. Mounting the harvester to a ProGator ensures access to the best hydraulic system available—addressing a common limitation of this equipment in other configurations. This enhanced hydraulic flow allows the harvester to effectively handle ¾-inch hollow cores, which modern sweepers typically struggle with.

Most sweepers have limited hopper capacity and require frequent trips to empty the tank, making them inefficient for larger core sizes. Additionally, many sweepers are equipped with solid wheels that can cause turf rippling or surface damage during turns—issues that are avoided entirely with our core harvester system.

Though it is a slightly older model, our core harvester is tried and tested, long favored by professional contractors for its ability to clean greens quickly, thoroughly, and without compromising quality.

The only minor limitation compared to sweepers is that the core harvester cannot dump into a vehicle; instead, material is offloaded into a pile and removed later by tractor or loader. However, the increased efficiency, turf safety and affordability far outweigh this consideration.
